Pero tambi\u00e9n es normal que pasen por momentos de crisis y se cuestionen si vale la pena continuar haciendo eso, dado el estr\u00e9s que implica.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Por otro lado, hemos ido aprendiendo el<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: normal;\">valor de ser emp\u00e1ticos<\/strong>. Pero usualmente vemos la empat\u00eda en forma limitada. 1) La consideramos como algo que se da a los dem\u00e1s. 2)\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">La mayor\u00eda la piensa como una respuesta \u00fanicamente a sentimientos negativos. 3) Tambi\u00e9n creen que ser emp\u00e1ticos requiere compartir activamente esos sentimientos.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: #000000;\">Esto implica<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: normal;\">dos paradigmas<\/strong>\u00a0en que caemos con frecuencia. El primero es centrarse en la empat\u00eda hacia los otros y olvidarnos de nosotros mismos. El segundo es centrarnos m\u00e1s en compartir que en cuidar.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;\">Los estudios muestran que compartir con empat\u00eda puede aumentar la tensi\u00f3n personal y acelerar el agotamiento. En cambio, la atenci\u00f3n emp\u00e1tica, que se expresa en<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: normal;\">mostrar compasi\u00f3n sin sobreidentificarse<\/strong><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>emocionalmente, ayuda y protege a la persona.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Los l\u00edderes que tienden a compartir en lugar de<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">preocuparse<\/span><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>ante las emociones reportan mayor agotamiento, mayor intenci\u00f3n de renunciar y menor eficacia en su liderazgo.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;\">Cuando los empleados reportan tener l\u00edderes que practican un estilo de<strong style=\"line-height: normal;\">empat\u00eda m\u00e1s comprensiva que solidaria<\/strong>, encontran que sus l\u00edderes son m\u00e1s efectivos y ellos mismos se descubren m\u00e1s comprometidos. Es mejor compartir que preocuparse, como concluye J. Esto empieza por ser consciente de los sentimientos que experimentamos.
